Paris Las Vegas lights up the night

Las Vegas’ already spectacular skyline has a new star – a dazzling nightly Eiffel Tower light show.

Inspired by the original Eiffel Tower’s illuminations in France, the enhanced USD $1.3m lighting at the Paris Las Vegas hotel and casino is a free, recurring show featuring choreographed coloured lights for visitors to enjoy on The Strip. In partnership with Vision Sign Inc., Paris Las Vegas installed approximately 6,000 LED strobe lights and programmable coloured LEDs on the tower’s exterior.

Michelin-starred chef Guy Savoy and legendary French singer and actress Line Renaud joined Caesars Entertainment executives and Clark County Commissioner Jim Gibson in the launch, which helped mark Paris Las Vegas’ platinum anniversary. An icon of the city skyline since opening in 1999, the 541-foot-tall replica Eiffel Tower is a half-scale version of the landmark in the French capital. Comprising 5,000 tons of wielded steel, it remains the tallest reproduction of the original anywhere in the world.
