Brazil invests in digital technology

As more tourists seek information online for booking their next destination, Brazilian Tourist Board, Embratur, says it has invested in new digital platforms. Embratur has launched new websites designed for buyers, Visit Brazil Marketplace; tour operators, Visit Brazil Academy; and tourists in general, Surf and Theme Parks. The goal, it says, is to improve the experience of foreign visitors in Brazil and to provide travel professionals with detailed information about the country.
Visit Brazil Academy is a free platform for training tour operators and travel professionals. The course, available in English, Spanish and Mandarin, provides information about different destinations in Brazil, sales support and guidelines for itineraries in different regions of the country.
The Visit Brazil Marketplace is a B2B platform that aims to connect Brazilian suppliers to international buyers.
The Theme Parks and Surf Brazil websites provide in-depth information for travellers who want to learn more about these topics and different destinations in Brazil.
