Slovenia Celebrates the Danube at ITB Berlin

ITB Berlin is famed for evening parties organised by tourism authorities, hotels or various travel partners. One of the most popular is the Danube Regional Project evening party. Turning into a traditional event during ITB Berlin, the event took place at the Representative Office of the Federal State of Baden- Württemberg in Berlin.

Slovenia was well represented with an information corner, culinary specialties as well as musicians and pantomime comedians. Slovenia shared the space with all the other countries shaping the Danube region. Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria, Montenegro and Moldavia were all present, forming a sort of “mini” ITB Berlin dedicated to the Danube.

Wines and delicacies accompanied guests all night long, highlighting that the Danube Region is not only about landscapes and a majestic river. A lucky draw let visitors to win a stay in Slovenia as well as souvenirs and local Slovenian delicacies.
